Preferred Reports cares about the health and well being of our clients, vendors, and insureds.  In response to the ongoing pandemic, over the past several months, Preferred Reports took action to keep risk information safely flowing to our customers.

  • We’ve created a line of inspection products that do not require physical interaction with an insured or their employees.  Our ASAP branded surveys allow us to conduct inspections as safely as possible using such things as our groundbreaking self-assessment smartphone application, phone interviews, and external data feeds. Alone or together these ASAP products are the answer for safely conducting underwriting surveys now and after the pandemic.

  • Preferred requires all vendors to follow guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and local health authority guidelines for essential workers.  This includes masking, social distancing, and screening before any physical inspection takes place.

  • We’re keeping clients updated on any delays with ordered inspections.   Our senior management monitors conditions in all the states daily including the pandemic, civil unrest, and weather emergencies. Our internal information system gives field managers access to real-time local information on dashboards and in situation reports issued as needed.

  • We created our new HELP Team to be a one-stop clearinghouse for anything related to Preferred Reports.  The HELP Team uses our cloud-based, disaster resistant architecture to stay in touch with clients, vendors, and insureds in any situation.

Preferred continues to set the bar high for industry innovation and we’re not going to stop.  We use social media channels to provide information to the general public through our Preferred Safe Series.  SummerSafe is in its second year and provides safety tips and videos on summer related topics weekly. 

All of these programs and initiatives reflect a considerable investment of time and capital to make sure Preferred Reports meets our customer’s risk intelligence needs and keeps our community a little safer in these remarkable times.
